On Saturday 13th January 2024, three Target Fire employees, Richard, Kevin, and Jonathon, conducted a voluntary collection of Christmas trees for the Springhill Hospice Christmas Tree Collection, of which we were a main sponsor. The collection repurposed old trees, turning them into wood chippings to be used in the gardens of Springhill Hospice.

“We took part in collecting 158 trees for the event, the best year since the event began. This aided in raising £2103 for the Hospice, a sum which could provide 8.5 hours of specialist inpatient care. Target Fire collected 22 trees in total, all of which led to donations to the Springhill Hospice collection.

Due to the voluntary action of Target Fire Protection, all funds collected were able to go directly to the Hospice, helping fund its provision of the crucial care they provide.”
