Fire Safety Training Manchester & Rochdale
Target Fire Protection provide commercial fire safety training courses in Manchester and across the UK for your staff, to give them the required skills, knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately in the event of a fire.
Our fire theory certified course is ideal for up to 15 of your employees and is a combination of PowerPoint presentations, video footage and fully supervised live fire demonstrations.
Fire Safety Training Course
The first hour and a half of the fire safety training course will be the theory fire training, spent in the classroom, covering a wide range of topics:
- Video extracts to show the nature of fire, the effects and devastation it can cause
- Microsoft PowerPoint presentation shows the theory of fire, the triangle of fire and various ways fire can be extinguished
- A section on the various fire risks with the best extinguisher to use in different situations and a quiz to encourage participation
- How to identify an extinguisher and a discussion as to how to use/hold an extinguisher
- Then our fire safety courses are followed by a Q&A session

Our Fire Safety Training
Our course is ideal for a range of sectors, and we can provide training for up to 15 people at a time. We also provide fire marshal training and fire extinguisher training.
Practical Fire Training
The final part of the day will be spent in our specially designed unit that is fully equipped to resemble a kitchen and uses gas to fuel fires in a toaster, computer screen, chip pan and a waste bin fire. Under strict supervision, trainees have the opportunity to take part in practical fire training, tackling each fire using various types of extinguisher.
Once complete the participants will receive an extinguisher ID card to evidence their fire extinguisher training.
