This month, Target Fire Protection were proud to get involved with our local community and help celebrate Cargill’s 150th anniversary with Cargill Manchester on their open day. Cargill have been established in the UK since 1955, providing agricultural, food, financial and industrial products and services globally. With a large base of employees, Cargill have an impact on the community around them, so celebrating such a momentous anniversary was a big day for the company and those they are linked with, including us.
At Target Fire Protection, we’re proud to have built long lasting relationships with many of our customers, and Cargill in Manchester are no different. We’ve provided fire safety services to the Manchester site since 1998, and more recently to their three sites in Liverpool since 2011, servicing their fire extinguishers, dry risers, hydrants, and automatic fixed systems to ensure they are fully functioning at all times.
To celebrate the company’s 150th anniversary, Cargill Manchester hosted an Open day in the main car park, with a range of attractions for employees, family, and friends to enjoy. Mixing fun and learning, the team at Target Fire were present to provide demonstrations and lessons in how to use a fire extinguisher correctly – a valuable safety lesson that employees could take away and use in their job role in future.
